Our volunteers were tireless in their efforts from the time of set-up on Friday through teardown on Sunday. They met ev- ery need of our customers in both the Beer and Bingo Tents. Beverages and bingo cards were flowing, and entertaining bingo calling filled the Bingo Tent. Loads of thanks to over 130 volunteers with special mention to those who participat- ed the entire weekend:

We recognize all of those who are behind the scenes – we cer- tainly cannot do it alone!! Bloomingdale Township Repub- lican Party, Bloomingdale Township Republican Women’s Organization, Harris N. A. Roselle, and Salerno’s Rosedale Chapels came through once again in our search for addition- al volunteers. Special thanks to Chamber Member Matthew Shinofield of RentalMax, for assisting with a truck to trans- port our supplies. Last of all, and certainly not least, con- gratulations on a job well done to the Scouts of Troop #408. These fine young men and their families offer annual services and assist with set-up and teardown in both tents.
All in all, we worked like crazy while having a great deal of fun!! If you were unable to participate, there’s always next year. Hope to see you there!
Day at the Races!
We’re all set for our Group Outing at Arlington Park Race Track on August 21st. Reserved tickets purchased before July 31 will be distributed through the Chamber office. An information packet outlining the dress code, schedule of activities, parking directions, optional valet service, and a map of the facility will be included with the tickets.
Please call Gail Croson at (630) 894-3010 to make arrange- ments to pick up your tickets. Tickets will be available at the Chamber office on Monday, August 24th and Tuesday, August 25h.
Additional tickets may be available at the discretion of Arling- ton Park and distributed through their “will-call” booth on the day of the event. Please call the Chamber office for more information.
