Sampling Valves

(As per NTPA Rule Book, Page: 32, Letter: L)

All divisions are required to have a sample valve installed for water and fuel injection sampling, nearest the pump as possible. (Multi engine vehicles are only required to have one engine with a sampling valve.) The “grace” period to

be compliant with the new rule has ended, pleased do your part in meeting this requirement.

Please note that the valves must be easily accessible to gather a sample easy with a 4-5” inch tall specimen bottle. If the valve is in a confined space, then you are to attach a hose to valve outlet bringing the pour point to an open space for ease of collecting sample.
