It is not long now until this special day in Galmpton's calendar. We are all praying for a fine day. Any queries please contact Maggie Goldsmith on 845251.
Open Gardens ~ 11:00 am – 5:00 pm
Ten gardens have already signed up this year but there is room for more. Have you an interesting garden that you would be happy to show ?
It doesn't have to be pristine. – Wild gardens are very much in vogue.
Garden Passports will be on sale for £2.50 from Monday, May 18th at the Galleon Stores, and on the day at the Information Desk opposite the Village Institute. Refreshments will be available in the Village Institute.
Listen out for music in the centre of the village !
Scarecrow Trail ~ 11:00 am – 5:00 pm
We hope there will be a repeat of last year's successful event, which was such fun. Everyone can make a scarecrow.
All you have to do is register your intention with Maggie (phone number above) so that she can mark yours on a map that will be in the Village Salon's window this year. A great chance for everyone to use their creative skills and make a fabulous display.
We gratefully acknowledge the generous sponsorship of Eric Lloyd & Co. th Celebration of Skills Day ~ Sunday September 6
The four Open Shows - The Village Flower Show, The Vegetable Show, The Cooks Show, and The Craft Show - all eagerly expect your entries ! Children are also catered for with their own individual and group sections.
Details and Entry Forms in The Booklet of Show Schedules will be on sale at the Galleon Stores from Friday, May 1st.
