EXHIBITION DESIGN AT LE PETIT PALAIS
« In developing this exhibition, our main objective was to combine Patrick Demarchelier’s visual universe with Le Petit Palais’ permanent collection. The first step was to meticulously select the photographs and conceptualize an aesthetic layout that combines the museum’s traditional collection to create a cohesive stylistic design.
The process became gradually more intuitive because the mixture of images creates a dialogue between each individual print, each cluster of prints and the traditional artworks.
In this visual environment, our desire is to celebrate the opposition and contradictions that appear. This installation does not prescribe a fixed narrative, but rather brings harmony to chaos and contrast. This marriage of many contrasts unites the visitors in a contemporary visual osmosis. »
