The course offers participants an overview of some of the most critical economic, social and environmental challenges, globally and nationally and explores some of the global responses to these challenges. Main themes include: a review of some key environmental and social challenges, key global economic trends, evolving perspectives around the notion of sustainable development and a review of sustainable development practices case studies.
