Palincsar and Brown’s Research

Palincsar and Brown (1984) developed reciprocal teaching to help 7th-grade poor

readers to improve the reading comprehension. Two studies were conducted to test the

effectiveness of reciprocal teaching. In the first one, reciprocal teaching was compared to
