Lion design ideas I would project shadows directly onto the lion, combined with shadows drawn onto acetate and then projected. These shadows would be from my immediate environment, such as from plants and from the human figure. I would use bold, solid shapes of colour with possible outlines. Colour is important in my work. I like that it can suggest depth and create visual illusions. I would use acrylic paint. Having suggested this, I would be equally happy to work to a different design idea.
Biog Elizabeth Knott graduated from Bath Spa University in Fine Art. Her paintings incorporate elements of the human figure and of the landscape. Bold colour is important in the ambiguous paintings of her immediate environment. She has successfully exhibited in Bath, Bristol and London and designed the popular 2008 King Bladud’s pig sculptures; “Bath Rugby Pig” and “Hog the Front Page.
