James Mark Long
Biog A local Artist since 1993, James has exhibited across England, including the Wildlife Art Society International Exhibitions; The Forum, Bath; Westminster Central Hall, London and currently at Cheddar Gallery, Cheddar Gorge and Time & Space Gallery, Combe Down, Bath. Having achieved noteable success as a Wildlife Artist, in September 2001 he attracted a lot of local media interest when his stunning painting of a Sumatran tiger stole the show at the "The Best Of..." (40 Artists) Exhibition at the Citadel Gallery, Chippenham. Here he was first acclaimed as 'the new Sir David Shepherd!" James regularly paints in acrylics and has received commissions from across the UK, Europe, Australia and USA. He paints everything from portraits to landscapes, seascapes to wildlife. James' style is incredibly life-like and he has painted the lion more than any other subject!
