This humorous, educational presentation about science, history, and our cultural perceptions of time is suitable for all ages. Astronomical topics include black holes, wormholes, the speed of light, and the possibilities of time travel. A Brief Mystery of Time is produced completely in laser light.

500,000 Planetarium Tickets Sold!
Tuesday, January 19, was a lucky day for Dijon Pickens. He had been meaning to see a planetarium show for quite some time, and he decided to bring his friend Crystal Green to see We Are Astronomers. Upon his purchase of the 500,000th ticket to a planetarium show, staff members surprised him with cheers and a gift basket containing a telescope, a museum membership, a star finder, and a DVD of a planetarium film. The Irene W. Pennington Planetarium opened its doors on May 23, 2003.
