Once again Channing opened our doors and welcomed all who strolled in to enjoy the warm fire and sample our assortment of chowders. The Outback men cooked and sold fries and popcorn.
The Children’s Choir performed at 5:00 pm. They are an amazing group of children, and their voices are so beautiful. We’re so proud that they’re a part of Channing Church! The Stroll is a wonderful chance for us to invite the community in and show off Channing and how special and friendly we are!
If you would like to donate money towards the wreaths and greens for this Holiday season (to help defray the costs) we are still accepting donations of $15 or more.
We have open Sundays for altar flower donations for February through June of the coming year.
Please contact Kareen (781-878-1988) or Debby (781-878-4470) or see them during coffee hour
Movie Night For All Ages
On Friday January 2, 2009 at 7:00, get out of the house and come on over to the church for a free movie night. We will have popcorn and soda as we watch a variety of short films that are appropriate for all ages. Channing has previously hosted two movie nights and they were fun and relaxing for all. Hope to see you there!
