To comply with Section 120.74, F.S., which requires agencies to revise its rules as often as necessary to ensure compliance with Florida Statutes. To revise forms CJSTC-63 and CJSTC-67 to comply with Section 119.071, F.S., which has been revised to preclude an agency from requesting an individual’s full social security number unless a list of the documents or forms have been filed with the state. To comply with Section 943.13(4), F.S., regarding the changes for fingerprinting for an individual who is required to meet minimum qualifications for employment or appointment as a criminal justice officer. To update the inactive advanced training program courses list.
There are no federal requirements dealing with this topic.
The proposed rules were noticed in the Florida Administrative Weekly on February 27, 2008 for a hearing to be held on April 2, 2008 if requested.
