7.4.2 Indexes, Limits, Split Tab The Indexes, Limits, Split tab provides options for editing the audio file.

The Oscilloscope area displays a graphical representation of the audio file. You can mark sections here to edit them.
The Positions area contains the following buttons:
Sets a new index position at the selected position. For the CD player this is the position from which a new song starts and the player can also jump to it directly. However, not all CD players support this function.
Opens the Edit split position window where you can enter the precise position of a split.
Deletes a marked index position or the position for a split audio file.
Physically splits the audio file into two separate audio files at the marked position.
Plays the audio file from the marked position. During playback, the Stop button is shown.
Stops playback of the audio file. If playback is stopped, the Play button is shown again.
Split at Index Positions
Splits the audio file at the set index positions.
Zoom In Zoom Out
Enlarges the graphical representation of the file. Reduces the graphical representation of the file.
Displays the graphical representation of the file to fit precisely into the oscilloscope area.
Nero Burning ROM
