Guidance concerning Air Navigation in and above the NAT MNPSA
Canada is currently conducting ADS-B trials in the NAT Region and in immediately adjacent domestic airspace. Further trials are also planned by Iceland. Reference to these operations is included into Chapter 6 - “Communications and Position Reporting Procedures”. It is planned that up- to-date details of the Canadian trials will be provided via NAT OPS Bulletins; current information is fully described in the appropriate Canadian aeronautical information publications.
The sample “Oceanic Check List Proposals” and the “Expanded Oceanic Check List” included in Section 12.3 of the 2009 Edition of the MNPSA Operations Manual are now published in full as NAT OPS Bulletins. Their details have consequently been omitted from this Document.
