COMPARISON OF CAT SKI OPERATIONS IN CANADA FOR LOCATION, PACKAGE TYPE, ABILITY LEVEL, SIZE, SNOWFALL, VERTICAL & COST

  • *

reliable information not available or not applicable

Multi-day packages include accommodation unless otherwise stated.

The prices listed above are for the 2012-13 season and serve as a guide to compare cat skiing costs. Costs don't include taxes unless specified with #. If more than one accommodation option is available, the price for the less expensive option is provided. The multi-day rates are generally based on a 3 day package. The single day rates provided are not standby rates; the exception to this are operations that only offer single day standby e.g. Retallack, Island Lake Peak and low season definitions vary for each operation. Many operations have multi-day packages that commence the night before the first ski day and finish on the last day of skiing so that the package has an equal no. of days & nights. There are exceptions to this where for example a package is 5 days and 6 nights - this has not been factored into the cost per day. The inclusions in each cat ski package differs between the operations. Generally multi-day packages include accommodation, meals, and safety equipment. Not all cat ski operations include ski and board rental.
