All administrative penalties should be made payable to the Maryland
Insurance Administration and reference the Consent Order number and
name on the check and any accompanying correspondence. Payment
should be sent to the attention of Teresa Hochrein, Appeals Clerk, at 525
referred to the Central Collection Unit for collections.
All timeframes set forth in the Consent Order may be amended or
modified only by subsequent written agreement of the Parties.
The undersigned representative of Respondent affirms that he or she has
the authority to bind Respondent to the obligations stated herein.
Failure to comply with the terms of the Consent Order may subject
Respondent to further legal and/or administrative action.
As set forth in the Report and as concerning or relating to the facts stated
therein, all violations asserted by the Compliance and Enforcement
Section of the MIA and relating to civil or administrative provisions of the
Insurance Article are hereby resolved. Nothing herein shall be construed
to resolve or preclude any potential or pending criminal prosecutions or
any defense thereto that may arise from the facts that are the subject of
this agreement nor shall it be construed to preclude any potential or
pending civil actions initiated by third parties.
This document contains the ENTIRE AGREEMENT between the Parties
and supersedes any earlier agreement or negotiations, whether written or
