The King Memorial Welcoming Party at the Pasadena Masonic Temple was a sell-out, with everyone enjoying the delicious sit-down dinner in the beautiful 1926 historic building.
In addition to handling pre-registration and car sales, Bruce & Elaine Lazarus directed on-site registration in the upper level of the Brown Hall. Besides the help of two Conven- tion Center assistants, SWD members assisting included Donn Nelson, Arlene Berns, Mark and Linda Spears, Marty Jorjanian, Butch Alvarado, Larry Pearson and Phyllis Smith.
John Fox from the Chicago, Illinois area (l) hosted the Marx Show & Tell on Saturday morning.
Saturday 80 Boy Scouts were able to work on Model Railroading, Collecting and Videography merit badges in the Brown Hall. Scout activities included racing trains and building a layout in the Brown Hall.
The Train Races and Demolition Derbies are always pop- ular events at Cal-Stewart. Here two hopefuls check out engines on the race track.
