1.4.

The following fish may be taken at FHL: large-mouthed bass, channel catfish, bluegill, red-eared sunfish, thread-fin shad, trout, carp, and other game fishes.

1.5.

Moving, stocking, or transplanting fish on FHL is prohibited.

1.6.

Boat and canoe use is restricted to oars or electric motors only.

1.7.

Live-Bait: Crayfish and minnows are strictly prohibited.

1.8.

All CDFG bag limits and methods regulations apply to fishing at FHL

2.

General:

2.1.

CDFG, FHL and Army regulations are applicable and enforced on FHL.  Violations may result in:

a.

Criminal prosecution in Federal Magistrate, U.S. District Court, California Municipal, or Superior Court,

b.

Suspension or revocation of Fort Hunter Liggett hunting privileges,

c.

Written warning or,

d.

Uniform Code of Military disciplinary action.

2.2.

It is unlawful on FHL to:

a.

drive any vehicle off-road,

b.

Drive on military shooting ranges,

c.

pick up, disturb or carry off Government equipment, ordnance, munitions or parts of the same,

d.

excavate, collect, damage, alter, deface, sell, purchase, transport, or receive any archeological artifacts,

e.

take, harass, harm, pursue, hunt, shoot, wound, kill, trap, capture, or collect, any threatened, endangered or non-game wildlife species (except coyote and bobcat,) or to remove or destroy any threatened, endangered or any other plants,

f.

disturb Protection and Rehabilitation Sites, which are marked with flagging, cones, and/or signs,

g.

cut, collect, or gather any wood,

h.

litter

2.3.

The following are unlawful in Fort Hunter Liggett training areas:

a.

access without a valid FHL training area or visitor pass,

b.

being intoxicated or consuming alcohol,

c.

fires,

d.

camping,

e.

use of off road motorcycles or all terrain vehicles (ATV’s),

f.

dogs (except voice trained dogs for bird hunting),

g.

swimming,

h.

target shooting, or

i.

possession of air-guns, slingshots or spring loaded devices.

2.4.

Vehicles must be parked within the training area noted on the hunter registration form, or within a designated parking area.

2.5.

Keep your creel card in your possession at all times while on FHL.

2.6.

The speed limit on FHL is 10 mph when passing troops and 25 mph in all other areas, unless posted otherwise.
