(Classes for Dogs & Bitches) Non-Regular Classes Involving Single Dog Entries

Veteran Class. Classes for Dogs and Bitches 7 years & older. Undefeated dogs and bitches that have competed at this show in the Veteran Classes shall compete for Best of Breed. Neutered dogs and spayed bitches are allowed to compete in Veteran Classes at independent specialty shows.

BEST OF BREED Non-Regular Classes Involving Multiple Dog Entries

Stud Dog Class. For Stud Dogs and two of their Get. Stud Dogs must be entered in the Stud Dog Class and shown in the ring with their Get. Owner of the Stud Dog need not necessarily be owner of Get. Award will be based on the merits of two of the get. Get must be individually entered in one of the breed classes in this show for which it is eligible.

Brood Bitch Class. Same as Stud Dog, except substitute Brood Bitch for Stud Dog and Produce for Get.

As a judge’s decision in the Stud Dog and Brood Bitch Classes will be based on the merits of more than one dog or bitch, no one of the dogs or bitches making up the entry judged first in the class will be eligible for Best of Breed by virtue of having won this class.

OBEDIENCE TRIAL CLASSES

Bulldog Club of America National Specialty Show only. Judging will be on Monday, November 20, 2006. Move-ups will be permitted in accordance with Obedience Regulations Chapter 1 Section 16.

JUNIOR SHOWMANSHIP COMPETITION Bulldog Club of America National Specialty Show only. Judging will be on Thursday, November 23, 2006

NOTE - Effective January 1, 2005 AKC Junior Handler Numbers are now required for entry in Junior Showman- ship Competition. Numbers may be obtained from the American Kennel Club TEL: (919) 816-3776 Novice Junior - for boys/girls at least 9-12 years of age on the day of the show who at the time entries close, have not won three first places with competition present in a Novice Class at a licensed or member show. Novice Intermediate - for boys/girls 12-15 years of age on the day of the show who at the time entries close, have not won three first places with competition present in a Novice Class at a licensed or member show. Novice Senior - for boys/girls 15-18 years of age on the day of the show who at the time entries close, have not won three first places with competition present in a Novice Class at a licensed or member show. Open Junior - for boys/girls 9-12 years of age on the day of the show who at the time entries close, have won three first places with competition present in a Novice Junior Showmanship Class at a licensed or member show. Open Intermediate - for boys/girls 12-15 years of age on the day of the show who at the time entries close, have won three first places with competition present in a Novice Junior Showmanship Class at a licensed or member show.
