10:00 AM – Mrs. Reddings Trail public hearing, attended by CCRC Beaver Island leadman Dave Adams, Peaine Township supervisor John Works, Jr., St. James Township supervisor Don Vyse and clerk Jean Palmer, Northern Islander reporter Elaine West and residents Don Spencer (representing wife Barbara) and Larry Saxton.

Mr. Harmon presented Charles Donaldson and Rich Wane correspondence supporting Natural Beauty designation.  He said resident concerns from past public hearing (i.e. lack of gravel, narrowness, visibility) have been resolved.  Mr. Works is concerned designation will hinder maintenance; Mr. Harmon said trimming will continue, and designation can be reversed if necessary.  Mr. Adams is concerned Western Shores Road at the “Y” intersection is included; Mr. Harmon assured him it is not.  Mr. Spencer praised CCRC maintenance and snow removal.  He noted all past supporters continue their support.
