This course introduces you to the basic concepts of algebra.
You will simplify or perform operations on signed numbers, radicals, polynomials, and
expressions containing exponents; factor polynomials; solve and graph linear equations and inequalities in one variable; graph linear equations in two variables; solve related applications.
The competencies and objectives included in this course will address some of the recently adopted Miami Dade College General Education outcomes, a set of 10 learning outcomes we expect graduating students to master in the years to come.
