The fields in the RVSP panel are described below.

VSAM Subpool #

The internally assigned subpool number. Subpools are

numbered sequentially beginning with one. In addition to the subpool number, this line also provides the number and size of the buffers that make up the subpool.

Pool ID Pool number Subpool type

Pool name assigned by the DFNVSMxx member. The pool number assigned internally by IMS.

Indicates whether the subpool is an index or data subpool, or whether this field is not applicable.

Subpool # within pool Buffers Page-Fixed?

Number of the subpool within the pool.

Indicates whether the buffers were page fixed for the interval.

IOBs Page-Fixed?

Indicates whether the IOBs were page-fixed for the interval.

Retrieves by RBA Retrieves by Key Records altered Records created

The cumulative number of retrieves issued by RBA. The cumulative number of retrieves issued by key. The cumulative number of records altered.

The cumulative number of ESDS inserts and KSDS inserts.

VSAM Reads

The cumulative number of reads performed by VSAM.
