Workloads

Introduction

Both the DETAIL and SUMMARY bottleneck reports require that you specify a workload. A workload is a way of identifying what you want to report on, such as PSB groups or system-wide bottlenecks. Below is a list of possible workload keywords.

Description

Displays degradation for a PSB group or groups, or displays symbolic name if you have defined it with the SYMNAME command.

Displays system wide degradation.

Displays bottlenecks for all the PSBs that are not defined in any group

Do not mix different types of workloads in one request. For example, it is not valid to ask for information about PSB group 2 and the system at the same time.

PSB Groups

PSB groups are user-defined groups in which certain types of PSBs are accessed together. This way, you can look in one place to find like information.

To display degradation for a specific PSB group, select it by name or number with the GROUP keyword (or the abbreviation GRP).
