And Christmastime favorites like Silver Bells, The Christmas Song and White Christmas.

Hafenkapelle — Cape Coral German-American Club Harbor Band Saturday, January 17, 2009 at 2 p.m. (outside in front of library) As seen at Oktoberfest in Cape Coral, they will play German polkas and waltzes as well as American Pop and Big Band favorites.

Scott Sanchez Classical Guitar Concert Saturday, February 14, 2009 at 2 p.m. (in the library meeting room) American-born classical guitarist Scott Sanchez has been described as possessing “fast and fluent fingers” and “glowing musicianship.” He’ll play spirited music of North and South America and works from European composers.

Sawgrass Drifters Folk Music Concert Saturday, March 14, 2009 at 2 p.m. (inside library) This dynamic trio’s voices and instrumental work are exacting and pure. They harmonize beautifully and play well with flair. Hear folk music at its best!

Mud Bone Jazz and Blues (at Estero Community Park) Saturday, March 28, 2009 1-3 p.m. As part of “Arts Estero 2009,” Mud Bone will play an eclectic mix of blues styles, including New Orleans, Funk and Rock. Jazz and blues at its finest!

Friends of SCRL has been designated a community partner by Target which since 1946 has given 5 % of its income to communities in which it serves.
