3 Things Learning (3TL) eTool Descriptions
3TL Open Forum Tool This session teaches how to either guide or participate in a process that will encourage the sharing and understanding of mutual perspectives followed by a critical examination of the situation consider- ing everyone’s point of view. This will culminate in choosing a course of action based on the com- bined input and broader perceptions of the group and resulting in better informed decisions.
3TL Problem Solving Tool This session will enable participants to develop a solution for most problems confronting them as an individual or in a team setting.
3TL Planning Tool This session allows participants to develop any kind of plan.
3TL Communication Tool This session allows participants to better organize and present material to create a more effective message.
3TL Decision Making Tool This session allows participants to identify who should make a decision and how that decision should be made.
3T Styles Tool This session allows participants to use the diverse styles of others enhance the effectiveness of their communication.
3T Interaction Tool This session allows participants to define roles and responsibilities, establish expectations, and fol- low-up with others to create and maintain communication and build rapport.
3T Conflict Basics Tool This session allows participants to understand the basic causes of conflict, what actions to take to prevent or diminish the impact of conflict situations, and how to facilitate a process for themselves or between others when conflict occurs.
3T Conflict Styles Tool This session allows participants to be more effective in a conflict situation. They will be able to deter- mine the primary conflict style, accurately access a situation using basic criteria for conflict situations, and identify and exhibit a conflict response style that increases your likelihood of success and is ap- propriate to the situation.
