St. Anne-Pacelli Catholic School
Catholic Schools Week
This week St. Anne-Pacelli joins over 6,500 Catholic Schools nationwide in celebrating National Catholic Schools Week. The following special activities are planned:
Monday: Cookies for Catholic School Students - Students will get a cookie treat that day. Students will also create murals and sidewalk drawings celebrating Faith, Knowledge, and Service.
Tuesday: Silly Sock Day - Students will bring in socks for St. Anne Outreach and will be able to wear silly socks. Our Middle School students will also have a Sock Hop. Elementary students will attend a play by Columbus State University. Students will participate in “A Thousand Thank
Yous.” Students will write 1,000 thank you cards to individuals and organizations who support St. Anne-Pacelli and Catholic Education.
Wednesday: Open House - Families interested in finding out more about St. Anne-Pacelli are invited to attend an Open House from 8:30 - 10:00 AM. Parents will be able to meet administrators, tour the campus, and get admissions information. Sr. Margaret Downing will speak to students in grades 6 -12 about living a life of faith.
Thursday: Sr. Philomena International Rosary - Students will attend a rosary conducted in various languages to show how prayer and Catholic faith spans the globe.
Friday: All students will celebrate a special Mass with Bishop Hartmayer at 9:30 AM.
PLEASE MARK YOUR CALENDAR: First Reconciliation is scheduled for Saturday, February 7th at 10:00 AM in the church. Please pray for our second graders as they prepare to receive this Sacrament.
A Confirmation Parent Meeting is scheduled for Sunday, February 8th. Parents may attend one of two meetings that day: 9:10 AM in the high school auditorium or 5:30 PM in the church.
