Stress can have a huge impact on one's physical and psychological health. To avoid its ill effects, it is important not only to learn effective stress reduction techniques, but to also develop a keen awareness of how and when tension arises in mind and body so that the stress response can be averted or minimized.

~ How stress affects health in general and MS in particular ~ Mental habits/filters that can exacerbate the stress response and how to work with them ~ Techniques for managing and transforming stress, including:
body and mind scanning
deep relaxation practices
creative expression for tension release
the calming effect of time spent in nature
Devin Wallace is the new Programs Manager for the San Luis Obispo and northern Santa Barbara County areas. Devin has designed and managed therapeutic and educational programs for people with disabilities for over 12 years. He has taught stress reduction classes and workshops at rehabilitation centers in California and Washington state.
