Reference to Standards or any other Mandatory Documents in this Specification relates to their latest issue current at the time of placing the order.
Structural, Mechanical and Hydraulic work shall conform to the latest editions of FEM, DIN, ASME, ANSI, AWS, ASTM, AGMA, SAE and JIS and other applicable local codes, agencies or bodies having jurisdiction at the Installation Site. Other equivalent codes shall be considered.
Electrical work and equipment shall conform to the latest editions of NEMA, IEEE, NEC, UL, IEC, and other applicable local codes, agencies or bodies having jurisdiction at the Installation Site.
The Forklift trucks(s) shall comply with applicable portions of the U.S. Department of Labor and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration.
4.2.1. All work shall be done in a thorough workmanlike manner and shall follow the best modern practice in the manufacture of high grade machinery. All work shall be performed by workmen in their particular trades.
All welders and weld procedures shall be qualified prior to use. Individuals and procedures may be prequalified by AWS, or approved equal, or they shall be cer-
tified as qualified in accordance with AWS, or approved
equal, by welding
an independent operators, and
tackers shall performed.
All materials shall be new and unused and shall ensure reliability and durability under the operating and environmental conditions. Materials shall be suitable for exposure to the environmental conditions or shall be effectively protected from them. Should the local codes or the local environmental conditions at the terminal site be more restrictive than herein specified, the materials shall meet the more restrictive requirements.
As a minimum the Forklift trucks components shall be designed for the temperature ranges specified in the supplemental data sheets of Section 11.2.
