relative humidity for operator safety and comfort under the weather conditions specified in the supplemental data sheets for the terminal location in Section 11.2.

      • 5.8.6.

        All glass shall be laminated safety glass. Side windows shall open for ventilation. Glass shall be tinted sufficiently to reduce sun glare but not reduce visibility. Electrical wipers and defrosters shall be provided as necessary to provide the operator unimpaired vision. Drip rails shall be provided over windows and doors.

      • 5.8.7.

        A high quality adjustable suspension seat with adjustable height, fore/aft location, and seat and back rest angle shall be provided. The chair shall be provided with a safety shoulder and lap belt.

      • 5.8.8.

        Mirrors to give the operator maximum visibility and a horn with control button mounted on the steering wheel shall be provided.

    • 5.9

      Hydraulic Systems

      • 5.9.1.

        Hydraulic systems shall be designed with emphasis on safety, uninterrupted service, long life of equipment, and minimum maintenance. Selection of equipment and connections will pay particular attention to preventing leakage. No component shall be used in excess of the original manufacturer's regular catalog rating. All components shall be of standard manufacture. The entire system shall be suitable for the environmental conditions at the site.

      • 5.9.2.

        Hydraulic valves, hoses and components shall be as supplied by Parker, Rexroth or ASPA approved equal. If initial installation is a different approved supplier, Manufacturer shall confirm interchangeability with Parker, Rexroth or ASPA approved equal.

      • 5.9.3.

        All apparatus shall be equipped with over pressure protection.

      • 5.9.4.

        Systems shall have adequate filtration to remove particles 10 microns or greater in size. Filter elements shall be readily replaceable and serviceable during system operation.

      • 5.9.5.

        Exposed hydraulic equipment shall be suitable for the environmental conditions.

      • 5.9.6.

        Hydraulic fluids suitable for use with the hydraulic systems shall be provided. The fluid type shall be approved by the original manufacturer of the components and be for use under all environmental conditions and not affect the normal life expectancy of any component. Hydraulic fluid shall be fire resistant.

5.9.7. The Magnet beam system generator shall be integral to the Forklift truck hydraulic system.
