Refers to any company or person supplying equipment that forms a part, parts, or assemblies on the Forklift trucks.
1.2.1. It is the intent of these Specifications to provide for the procurement of two (2) pneumatic tired forklift trucks of modern design, suitable for safe, efficient and profitable handling of steel slabs from a manufacturer regularly engaged in the design and supply of large capacity forklift trucks. There shall also be an option for one (1) additional unit to be ordered within one year of the original order.

design and supply (including the magnet beam system).

1.2.4. ASPA's intent is to purchase the Forklift trucks with all appurtenances and capital and consumable spare parts needed for its maintenance and operation; however, the Manufacturer recognizes ASPA's right, at any time or from time to time, to replace any part of the Forklift truck directly from a supplier or vendor of ASPA's choosing. The Manufacturer agrees that it has not made nor will it make any agreement with any supplier or vendor which would nullify or restrict ASPA's right.
1.2.5. Safety and reliability of the Forklift trucks is paramount and maintainability is critical. Low energy consumption and durability of operation are of the utmost concern. It is foreseeable that the Forklift trucks will be used to handle steel slabs approximately twenty (20) hours a day (when not subjected to prescribed maintenance).
These Specifications contain only minimum requirements for Forklift trucks for
the intended service. The designer/Manufacturer alternatives for consideration and to describe the Forklift trucks which improve the performance,
is encouraged to furnish features of their proposed maintainability and cost
