For children under the age of 24 months the percentage of mothers who gave amounts of liquids during a diarrheal episode has increased from 28% at baseline to 37% at midterm, and 38% at final. See Fig. F. below for graphical description.
The percentage who gave was 45%. (At baseline 62% gave equal or more foods.) The main point is that there has been a decrease in the amounts of "equal or more" foods given during a diarrheal episode. In the area of giving , 54% of mothers were practicing this concept, where as at baseline only 35% were giving more or equal breast milk.
