If the market value of above named horse is in excess of $2000.00 (two thousand
dollars), owner must provide valuation documentation and provide adequate insurance
coverage for above named horse. whatsoever.
Stable will not be held liable for any claims
RIGHT OF LIEN
The owner hereby grants a lien on the horse for all charges resulting from
boarding and rendering any other services to the animal. If any such charges are unpaid for a period of 30 days after they come due, Stable may, upon 15 days notice in writing to Owner, sell the horse at public or private auction to satisfy the account. Owner agrees to relinquish titly to any and all breed associations, registration papers upon enforcement of this clause. The notice may be served by registered or certified mail with returneed
receipt requested, addressed to the owner at the address stated responsibility to notify Management of any changes to address or contacts. The proceeds of the sale, after paying the expenses thereof,
shall be applied to
liquidate the indebtedness secured by the lien including all charges accrued in caring the animal up to the date of sale and the balance shall be paid to the Owner. If proceeds of the sale are insufficient to cover the indebtedness, the Owner shall pay
for the the
difference to the Stable.
The boarding fee includes feeding twice daily (up to a maximum daily limit--8
pounds of maintenance feed); horse will be provided with an adequate amount of hay to
sustain his healthy weight and nutritional requirements;
a box stall cleaned 3 times
weekly by bedded with sawdust in a quantity to be decided as , ____________________ adequate by Stable Management, currently loads per week. Owner is _________ permitted to pick out horse’s stall in between cleanings, however, no extra sawdust is to be added to a stall without permission from Stable management. Fresh water is provided in adequate amounts on schedule. If water is empty, it does not mean that your horse was not watered. It simply means her drank it. Some horses will be given 2 buckets for water, deemed necessary by management and will be maintained. If however, Owner adds 2nd water bucket without Management’s approval, Owner will need to take care keeping bucket cleaned and filled with fresh water. All horses are turned out a minimum of 2 hours daily, weather permitting, Monday - Friday. Self turnout at other times is available to Owners. If ground is wet, the sand turn outs only can be used.
