With the exception of the OkiLAN 6200e 100 series, OkiLAN 6200e print servers will allow one FTP connection. If more FTP connections are attempted, the OkiLAN 6200e will reject the connection until one of the other FTP connections is closed. When an FTP connection is rejected, the FTP program will typically display a message like the following:
ftp> open OkiLAN 6200e_name<CR>
Note: Specifying binary mode is important for all jobs. Most FTP implementations default to ASCII mode. This may cause unexpected or undesired printing results.
Example: The following example prints a PostScript file called chart.ps to the OkiLAN 6200e printer Port 1 using FTP. $ ftp OkiLAN 6200e_name<Enter> Connected to OkiLAN 6200e_name. 220 ESI-2810 Version 3.0 ready. Name (OkiLAN 6200e_name:anyone):<Enter>
