STAR OF HOPE
The Hope Above All Hopes!
As Easter approaches, like most Christians, I have been thinking about Christ’s resurrection. I’ve noticed that the Apostle Paul makes very clear that, without the resurrection of Jesus Christ, Christians are to be pitied above all men! Without the hope of Jesus’ resurrection from the dead, and eventually our own, we really have no hope beyond what we see on earth. That is pitiful, indeed.
Thankfull , the resurrection of Christ IS true! During Easter at Star of Hope, we have the opportunity to share that truth with hurting and homeless men, women and children who need lasting hope for their lives.

As you’ll read in this issue of Star of Hope News, Maria and Joseph both found hope for their earthly and heavenly futures. Through your generous gifts to Star of Hope, we were able to offer them life-skills, career training, and most importantl , an environment in which to build a relationship with God. I pray that their stories bring you affirmation and encouragement this Easte .
I also pray that you and your loved ones take time to rejoice in Christ’s resurrection during this special season. Please don’t forget that, because of your compassion, many of our community’s hurting friends and neighbors have reason to rejoice this season, too.
Thank you for your gracious support!
Together giving hope,
“If only for this life we have hope in Christ, we are to be pitied more than all men. But Christ has indeed been raised from the dead...”
