2009 Yearbook Presale—Order Now and Save $$$! Nordonia High School is offering a great way to purchase the best book of the year, the Nordonian yearbook, directly through the mail or online.
In a partnership with Jostens, our yearbook printer, Nordonia High School is offering a program for purchasing yearbooks from home. This simple method will eliminate the need for students to bring money to the school. Yearbook purchases will be made through the mail, Internet or by simply calling the toll-free service hotline, 1-866-282-1516. A special feature of the pro- gram allows parents the option of an installment payment plan. Watch your mailbox for your yearbook order form.
The presale price for a plain yearbook is $57.00 until January 18, 2009. After January 18, 2009, the price will increase to $62.00. Remember, we offer a payment plan, so put down a deposit to secure your lower pricing. For an additional charge, you can add your name and icons to personalize the cover of your book; you can also purchase a protective cover, autograph section, photo pockets or a CD with a variety of music, videos and games. Options can be ordered individually or in packages for extra savings. Personalized books and options must be ordered and paid in full by March 15, 2009. Please note we do not order extra books; reserve yours now. Don‟t miss out!
2008 Yearbook Sold Out
The 2008 yearbooks arrived in October and the few extra “overrun” copies printed by the publisher sold out immediately. Many students and parents have called to try to buy a copy. There are no copies left to sell and no additional copies can be printed.
We want your photos!
Did you get that perfect picture? If you have the perfect shot and would like to share the photo with the year- book staff for consideration of placement in the yearbook, please upload your photo at https:// images.jostens.com. The user id number is 1181868 and the password is goknights. Easier yet – visit Nordonia High School‟s website, click on “Yearbook” and click the “Images” link.
Senior PDA Ads
One of the most popular sections of the yearbook is the PDA section. Parents of senior students will receive a separate mailer this month containing information about placing a Parental Display of Affection (PDA) ad in the yearbook: a special congratula- tory message and picture(s) in color or black and white of their child. PDA ads are due by January 31, 2009. Spaces fill up quickly, especially for color ads, so order early! The letter and order form will be available on the high school‟s webpage shortly!
Senior Yearbook Pictures January 15, 2009, is the deadline for the members of the Class of 2009 to have senior pictures taken at Venditti Studio. If your child has not yet made an appointment, call 440-232-7575 now to schedule your session. Appointment times fill up quickly, so don‟t delay. Remember: All senior yearbook pictures must be taken at Venditti‟s. There is no charge for the “yearbook photo only” session. You may have the portraits you purchase taken at the studio of your choice; however, we highly recommend Ven- ditti‟s because of the quality of their photography, excellent customer service and reasonable prices compared to other area stu- dios.
Looking for Advertisers
Yearbook students will be visiting local businesses in October to sell advertising space in the yearbook. Advertising in the Nor- donian benefits your business because the ads are seen by thousands of people. Ads keep down the cost of the book for students as they promote local businesses. You can be a yearbook patron for $20.00, sponsor a page for $35.00, or purchase a business ad from $30.00 to $300.00. Call Ms. Lang for more information or to set up an appointment for a yearbook student to visit your business.
