shadow at a different point on the circle on each of the 365 successive days, to determine a precise calendar year. The angle created by the side of the pyramid and the ground is equal to π (pi), or 3.14159, the critically important geometric concept supposedly discovered by the Greeks. The pyramid is located precisely on the 30th parallel, which is equidistant from the North Pole to the equator and serves as a standard guide for navigational and astronomical calculations.
The builders of the Great Pyramid knew of the cycle of the stars, their indi- vidual and collective influence on the earth and sun, their effect on human consciousness, and the fact that intelligent life was not limited to only our planet. With this as a precise marker on earth, a series of shafts within the Great Pyramid point to the prominent stars and constellations of Orion, Sirius, and Pleiades —points in the night sky believed to harbor intelligent life. In a sense, these windows can be viewed as part of an astronomical observatory. The Great Pyramid contains several passageways, various rooms, the Grand Galler , and is equipped with air ducts. All chambers within the pyramid measure a constant temperature of 68º F (20º C), which is considered an optimum temperature for modern human living. Besides being an observator , Edgar Cayce noted in one of his visions that “the Great Pyramid was built as a temple of initiation.” This was no pharaoh’s tomb as Egyptologists lead us to believe —it was a struc- ture serving many advanced functions and encompassing multi-dimensional information. The Great Pyramid was specifically designed to bring ancient Egyptian students into an enlightenment-consciousness state after completing their twelve-year Eye of Horus studies. Some of the greatest names in history are said to have been initiated here, among them Hermes, Moses, Akhunaton, Pythagoras, Plato, and Jesus Christ. In addition, the Great Pyramid is believed to contain a hidden passage to another chamber, the Hall of Records, which contains the knowledge of earth past, present, and future.
In all its majestic glor , the Great Pyramid is the last remaining Wonder of the Ancient World and humankind’s finest architectural achievement. Its very location represents a rare and powerful energy spot, one of only a few acupunc- ture points on the physical planet where major ley lines connect. The supreme monument of antiquity was constructed on a precise and very sacred piece of ground.
What the position of the Great Pyramid repre- sents is a profound understanding of the cosmos and the physical planet. This pyramid was con- structed at the center of all landmasses on earth. Even more surprising, the Sphinx was built at this location thousands of years earlier.
