Lupine Loop businesses are open Friday and Saturday and, in some cases, Sunday. See the list in this booklet and find them on the map.

FRIDAY, JUNE 20

9-11am Barred Island Walk & Talk with Ken and Marnie Crowell, 14B, meet at the entrance to the parking lot. 348-6065. 9:30am-2:30pm Pelagics and Puffins, 10H. Mike Little guides a trip through the archipelago to remote Seal Island National Wildlife Refuge, nesting site for thou- sands of pelagics: Atlantic puffins, arctic and common

terns, great cormorants, razorbills and murres. We may also spot gannets, Wilson’s storm petrels, shearwaters, seals, dolphins and possibly whales en route. While land- ing is not permitted, there will be ample opportunity for viewing and photographing. $70pp; reservations required (348-2455). Dress warmly for an open boat on the open ocean. Depart Old Quarry Ocean Adventures, 130 Settlement Rd., off Oceanville Rd., Stonington. 10am-12pm Stonington Farmers Market, 15F, Island Community Center. 10am-2pm Island-wide Treasure Hunt. Pick up Treasure Hunt passports at the Stonecutter Statue near Fisherman’s Friend Restaurant. Find the Treasure Hunt symbol *T* on the map and visit these Lupine Loop businesses to find the clues. Prizes will be given to those who finish at 2:30pm at the Welcome Center, Little Deer Isle. 2-6pm Lupine by Air, 14E, Scenic flights by Penobscot Island Air, Stonington Airport, $35 per person. Departures every 15 min. Walk-ins first come, first served. For seat reservations, call 596-7500. 5-7pm Artists Crawl in Stonington & Deer Isle.
