This presentation will provide an overview of the actions taken as we develop a model dual language K‐6 school program. We provide a brief history of our school’s program obstacles and successes, as well as staff initiatives that led to the refinement of our current two‐way program and transition of our site’s current bilingual maintenance program to a one way dual language developmental model. We provide an overview of strategic planning milestone steps, while focusing on critical steps to align programs. Samples of CAM and CAP will be provided.

Dynamic Descriptive Writing for the Dual Language Classroom
