CounterPoint SQL V8.3.5 Release Notes

52

You can also specify a gridded Item number on the Item Prices window, and then click the Grid button to display the Prices dialog.

You can use this dialog to define cell-specific and location-specific prices for all cells of a gridded item at once.

If a cell-specific price is defined for a cell of a gridded item, that price is automatically applied to any line in Ticket Entry or Touchscreen Ticket Entry that includes only that cell.

Location-specific cell prices take precedence over cell prices that are not location-specific.

If a line contains multiple cells, CounterPoint uses the item’s normal price for that line.

Enhanced location-specific pricing (Enterprise)

Previously, when you created a location-specific price, you were required to fill in a location-specific price value for every price level. For example, if you entered a location- specific value for Price-1, you had to enter a value for Price-2 as well.

You can now choose to enter only price exceptions on the Item Prices window (Inventory / Prices / Item Prices). For example, if you enter a location-specific Price-1 value for an item, but choose to not enter a location-specific value for Price-2, CounterPoint will simply use the item's default Price-2 value for calculations.

NOTE:

This feature is not supported in CounterPoint SQL Express.
