Enhanced item publishing for custom templates

CPOnline supports custom templates, which allow you to tailor the look and feel of your online store to meet your specific needs, giving your online customers a unique shopping experience. Each custom CPOnline template can include up to three alphanumeric item fields and up to three numeric item fields that are user-defined. Previously, CounterPoint did not publish item data to these user-defined item fields.

If you are using a custom CPOnline template, you can now publish additional item information from CounterPoint to any of the user-defined item fields in your custom template. For each user-defined field in your custom CPOnline template, you can choose one the six available Item attribute fields or one of the twenty available Profile fields (five each of Code profile, Alpha profile, Numeric profile, and Date profile fields).

To specify the CounterPoint data source for each user- defined item field in your CPOnline template, select Setup / Ecommerce / Control, select the Custom tab, and then select the appropriate Custom item field source options.

Enhanced order import for custom templates

Each custom CPOnline template can include up to five user-defined, alphanumeric order fields. These fields allow you to collect additional information for each online order that is unique to your business. Previously, CounterPoint could not import data from these user- defined order fields.

If you are using a custom CPOnline template, you can now import data from any of these user-defined order fields into one of twenty Profile fields that are available in CounterPoint (five each of Code profile, Alpha profile, Numeric profile, and Date profile fields), allowing you to retain the additional information collected in your online store for each imported order.

To specify the destination fields in CounterPoint for each user- defined order field in your CPOnline template, select Setup / Ecommerce / Control, select the Custom tab, and then select the appropriate Custom order fields destination options.
