Customer input forms for Ingenico payment terminals

In this version, you can now configure CounterPoint to display a customer input form on an Ingenico 6550 or 6770 payment terminal when you are using Ticket Entry or Touchscreen Ticket Entry. A customer input form can display ticket line information and prompt the customer to provide profile information by responding to a question.

Use the Ingenico Form Designer to create a customer input form for use with your payment terminal, and then define the Ingenico form display device in Setup / Point of Sale / Devices to assign your custom form to your payment terminal.

On the Ingenico Form Display dialog, select your payment terminal from the Device list.

From the Form tab, click the

button to

select the Form filename for your customer

input form.

Select the appropriate Input type for your custom form (i.e., Buttons, Alphanumeric, or Numeric) and the Profile field # of the code, alphanumeric, or numeric profile field to assign to your custom form.

If you selected Buttons from the Input type field, assign a Button ID and a valid Profile code value to each button you included on your custom form.

If you selected Alphanumeric or Numeric from the Input type field, enter Keyboard/pad prompt text you want to display on your custom form.

If you included a scrolling line item area on your custom form, use the Line Items tab to define messages and assign CounterPoint fields to the scrolling line item area.
