Naonal Modena Club of Great Britain We will recog‐ nize the 100th Anniversary of this Club by providing sev‐ eral token awards to winning birds at their anniversary show. Nominaon of Judges for the Na onal Please give some thought to whom you would like to judge the Naonal. Those who are considered for nominaon at our annual meeng must agree to serve in wri ng or be present at the mee ng and agree to serve. Last year we did not have a sufficient number of nominees. Salt Lake City Na onal The Salt Lake City Naonal is close at hand. This year the Club sponsoring the Naonal will be offering cash awards for Best in Show, Reserve Best in Show and Best Variety/Group. In Memory Virginia De Long We were sorry to hear of Virginia’s passing. I knew Virginia for a number of years. Virginia loved her Modenas. She worked as a veterinary assistant
and was very fond of animals.
She was devoted to
breeding and showing collies, but she loved her Mode‐ nas. Her gi for breeding was legendary and her parcu lar interest was dilute colors. She once told me that her lifelong goal was to win the Naonal, which she accomplished in 2002 with a Silver Schie Cock. She said that was her proudest moment. Virginia’s passing was truly a sad day and a loss for the
our Members to solicit adversing
in the upcoming Year‐
book. This is a significant source of revenue which sup‐ ports this annual publica on. Please contact me (email@example.com or (925) 283‐7282 (California me) to volunteer your services and ensure that this
Yearbook is successful. Commiee Acvi es
