Kentucky State University Alumni Association Louisville Chapter Scholarship – this is a $500 scholarship opportunity for worthy deserving African American graduates of an accredited high school. The scholarship is to be used only for tuition, books, and fees and the check is made payable to the educational institution. Students must have been accepted to Kentucky State University, have GPA of 2.5 or above, and display financial need. WLKY-TV Spirit of Louisville Bell Award Scholarship – this is a $1000 cash scholarship available for outstanding juniors or seniors that have demonstrated outstanding volunteer service, donations to charity, etc. at the sacrifice of their own time, energy, and special talents. The award is based on the average number of volunteer hours and the diversity of the nominee’s volunteer activities. The winner must be nominated by an adult. Brian Jennemann Memorial Scholarship Fund – The Brian Jennemann Scholarship Fund was established by his family and friends to honor his life and commitment to others.
