The 1997 strategic plan has not been updated since 1998. According to several staff members, this plan has been “on the shelf” and not operational. The decision is yet to be made as to whether the plan will be revised or a new plan written.
The most current district goals are found in the 1999-2001 District Focus document. There are seven goals included in the District Focus. They are: Improve Student Achievement, Share Decision- making, Increase Confidence in our School District, Guarantee Equity for All Programs and All People, Build a Positive Culture, Establish and Maintain Strong Cohesive Teams, and Value Our
Diversity of People and Ideas. Administrative Leadership Team to create or revise district goals.
The District Focus goals were determined during Conference. The superintendent and council members

As a component of the assessment of district planning, the auditors reviewed individual site-based plans presented by the district. The site plans were compared to the District Focus goals. Exhibit 1.2.2 shows the connection between the school’s site-based plans and the District Focus goals.
