Project Title: Introducing “Hop-Wait –HOP” Production System

Background: Every organization wants to increase productivity. Different approaches are made to reach the goal of increasing productivity. One of the way viz. Hop-Wait –HOP” Production System is also may be tried to reduce waste and increase productivity.

Objective:With the kaizen the goals are different. Naturally one tries to optimize the profit. This is possible however only with high customer satisfaction, since customer production is more expensive than customer connection. In order to ensure customer satisfaction, three factors are the centre of attention. Reduction of costs, Quality assurance and speed.

Methodology: Related articles, cases studies etc.Books, Internet sources, Companies internal experts, Different reports generated by the company, observations derived from practical examination of fabric floor, Charts generated by analysis of secondary data, touch history analysis.

Findings: Value Loss, Muda Muri, Efficiency, Process Improvement.

Conclusion: The project successfully fulfilled its aim of eliminating waste, by resulting in reduced cost in terms of 3 M’s of the organization, material, manpower and money. The project looked at quality and time taken within the framework
