ERIC S. BROWN Director, Industry Analysis – Capital Group

Eric S. Brown joined Newmark Knight Frank Capital Group in 2006. He focuses on investment sales in the New York metropolitan region, as well as industry analysis and benchmarking for various sectors of the market.

Mr. Brown began his real estate career at Eastdil Realty. In his four years with the firm, he underwrote and marketed an extensive array of office, retail, residential and hotel properties across the country.

Mr. Brown also consulted for the law firm of Sedgwick, Detert, Moran & Arnold prior to joining Newmark Knight Frank, as a special real estate advisor to their legal team.

Mr. Brown attended the University of Michigan where he received a B.B.A. with an emphasis in Finance/Accounting.

ROMEL C. CAÑETE Executive Managing Director – Financial Services

Mr. Cañete is Newmark Knight Frank’s senior managing director of financial services. He specializes in quantitative analyses regarding commercial real estate leasing and investments.

Mr. Cañete’s prior experience was with Hanauer Financial Corporation, a commercial mortgage company, where he was responsible for mortgage underwriting and placement, providing a deep set of skills that are very useful in the analysis of purchases and sales.

Mr. Cañete holds a M.B.A. from the Wharton School.

ROLLA S. EISNER Senior Managing Director

Rolla Eisner joined Newmark Knight Frank in 1993 as the liaison between the accounting, leasing and management departments. She is also the point person for due diligence for new property assignments.

Before she came to Newmark Knight Frank, Ms. Eisner worked for The Shorenstein Company, where she specialized in financial analysis and the preparation of leasing reports for owners. Ms. Eisner also served for 11 years at Mendik Realty Company, Inc. as vice president.

Ms. Eisner is a graduate of the University of Rochester. She holds a degree in Real Estate Finance from the New York University School of Continuing Education, as well as a certificate from The Institute for Paralegal Training.
