Baigorri 2005 Blanco Fermentado en Barrica Rioja ($40) 87 This 100% light to medium bodied Viura from 70+ year old vines is aged twelve months in new French oak. It has aromas of tropical fruit suffused with vanilla oak. The attack is very soft with predominantly warm vanilla flavors that carry through to the finish.
