Adam Opel AG is reaffirming its partnership with the Rheingau Music Festival. As in previous years, the company will be supporting the programme of events as a vehicle sponsor. Cultural involvement has a long tradition behind it at Opel – not least in the surrounding region. Opel has been headquartered in Rüsselsheim for what will soon be 150 years: it is from here that ten plants and three R&D cen- tres in six different countries are managed. Opel employs about 40,000 people. This year, Opel will be the first German automaker to put on the market an elec- trically powered vehicle with unrestricted suitability for daily use and an extended range of more than 500 kilometres: it’s called the “Ampera”. Opel is the concert patron for the “James Bond Night” in the Wiesbaden Assem- bly Rooms on 14 July, where the Ampera will be unveiled for the guests. The Rheingau Music Festival, the James Bond Night, performed by one of the world’s best orchestras, the Royal Philharmonic, and Opel: a team whose quite excep- tional capabilities for innovative dynamism guarantee a unique evening.
