CAKE DECORATING FOR BEGINNERS This demonstration course will cover basic decorating techniques and step-by-step instructions to get you started creating beautiful cakes. Learn to make the perfect buttercream icing, to smooth ice a cake, make fancy borders, various decorative flowers with royal icing (i.e. rose, daisy, chrysanthemum and others), leaves and other basic techniques. CAKE DECORATING WITH ROLLED FONDANT Prerequisite: Cake Decorating for Beginners or ability to ice a cake with buttercream icing Learn how to cover a cake with rolled fondant and to create interesting side designs. In order to practice this technique, you need to bring a baked cake, buttercream icing, a rolling pin, and a pizza cutter.
