Note: If you do not want to follow the reusability logic provided by SAP, you can configure this function to suit your own needs.
When a subrequirement is created, you tag it using one of the following three reusability groups:
Academic work assigned to this category of subrequirement can be shared by other subrequirements of any other category.
Academic work assigned to this category of subrequirement cannot be shared by other subrequirements except the subrequirement of category 'U'.
Academic work assigned to this category of subrequirement can be shared only by other subrequirements of the same group and subrequirement of category 'U'. One subrequirement can belong to several groups.
You can use this function to prioritize the usage of academic work.
Prioritization of academic work usage works in association with academic work Reusability. When there is a restriction in the number of times an academic work can be reused across a profile, the order in which the subrequirement is evaluated is important. Prioritization of academic work dictates the order in which the subrequirements are evaluated.
When you create a subrequirement, you can assign a number value, which determines its level of priority. You define the priority level of the number (the lower number or higher number having higher priority) in Customizing.
Prerequisites You have created one or more subrequirements and assigned a number to them to represent their priority.
