TO BE EXCITING, IT'S GOING TO RENOVATE THE ENTIRE AREA, AND SO IT WILL BE A LITTLE BIT OF INCONVENIENCE FOR A PERIOD OF TIME, BUT WE HOPE THAT ALL THE EMPLOYEES WILL BE APPRECIATIVE AND UNDERSTANDING BECAUSE IN THE LONG RUN AT THE END OF IT, WE'RE GOING TO HAVE AN OUTSTANDING CIVIC PARK HERE IN OUR OWN NEIGHBORHOOD AND OUR OWN COMMUNITY, AND I LOOK FORWARD TO MAKING IT AS HOPEFULLY NOT ANY KIND OF BURDEN ON EMPLOYEES BUT WE'LL MONITOR IT ALONG THE WAY. WE'RE VERY EXCITED THAT WE'RE GOING TO BE ABLE TO KICK THIS OFF AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. IT'S SOMETHING THAT WE'VE BEEN WORKING ON FOR A NUMBER OF YEARS.

SUP. ANTONOVICH: MY CONCERN IS NOT THE PARK, IT'S JUST IF THEY CAN ADJUST SOME OF THE TIMES SO THAT PEAK HOURS--

SUP. MOLINA, CHAIR: AGAIN, THAT'S GOING TO BE LEFT UP TO THE EMPLOYERS HERE, THE DEPARTMENT HEADS, AS TO HOW THEY DETERMINE THAT FOR THEIR EMPLOYEES.

SUP. ANTONOVICH: AND WITH TWO WEEKS AWAY--

SUP. MOLINA, CHAIR: NO. THEY HAVE KNOWN FOR A LONG PERIOD OF TIME. THIS HAS BEEN IN THE PLANS FOR A LONG PERIOD OF TIME. THIS DIDN'T HAPPEN OVERNIGHT.
